About Houston's Websites
"Us" is mostly me, Tanyia Chuites. I do work with some colleagues, a loose conglomeration of industry professionals in Central and South Texas, who collaborate from time-to-time in our various areas of expertise.I was graduated from Rice University in 1996 with a BA in English/Sports Medicine. I began designing websites in 1996 at Conroe High School; my first website was created for the Sports Medicine Department, before CSS was implemented and before Dreamweaver was popular.
I have an art background (I attended classes in high school and at Rice). I work with oils, pastels and charcoals at home. I edited and wrote for my high school newspaper and yearbook; editor of the yearbook, senior year.
Currently, I head marketing efforts for my employer, Albrecht & Associates, Inc. I have been managing databases, maintaining the website, and handling hosting and general IT issues since 1998. I create all of our advertisements and brochures, with the help of Adobe CS3 software.
